The tale of an apartment with Tenants who didn’t want to leave their home!

This charming seaside apartment offered spacious living, a fantastic location, just off Bognor Regis promenade and many period features throughout.

Formally the servant quarters for the Royal Norfolk Hotel.

The property was initially listed for let in 2015 and the first Tenants to view the property, fell in love with it from the moment they stepped inside.

5 years later, the current owner decided to sell as he wanted the money to fund an extension at his own home for his growing family.

The Tenants were distraught at the thought of leaving their home after so many happy years.

We came up with a brilliant idea and suggested to the Landlord and Tenant that we try and sell the property to another Landlord so the Tenants didn’t have to move and could continue to live in their lovely home.

Both the Landlord and Tenant thought this was a brilliant idea, the Landlord was very happy that his rental income wouldn’t be interrupted, and he wasn’t going to be forcing his Tenants to leave and his Tenants couldn’t be happier as they loved their home very much and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

We managed to find another Landlord to purchase the property and the sale went through smoothly, and the former Landlord has been able to commence work on his extension.

We were also very happy with the outcome; we had managed the rental of this flat for 5 years and they were excellent Tenants, they had always paid their rent on time and the kept the property in immaculate condition. After working with them for so many years, we were sad at the prospect of our relationship coming to an end.
