As the evenings draw in and autumn settles over the coast, Bognor Regis certainly does not slow down. From Halloween activities and community events to festive shopping and the annual Christmas lights switch-on, there is plenty happening around the town over the coming weeks.
Whether you are looking for something to enjoy with the children, an opportunity to support a local cause or simply an excuse to get out and enjoy the community, here are some of the events worth adding to your diary.
Spooktacular Halloween Fun at Butlin’s
Halloween takes over Butlin’s Bognor Regis throughout October as the resort's Spooktober celebrations return.
Families staying at the resort can expect plenty of seasonal entertainment, including the evening Scareground, an Eerily Silent Disco, pumpkin carving and the Skyline Gang Monster Mash Up. Fireworks are also planned during the half-term period, making it a particularly exciting time for younger visitors.

Music for a Cause at Regis School of Music
A longstanding local tradition returns in early November as Regis School of Music hosts its annual concert in support of Save the Children.
For around 40 years, the Levtov family and the school have supported the charity through this special evening of music. Students of all ages take to the stage, with money raised helping children in need around the world.
There will also be refreshments during the interval and a raffle at the end of the evening.

Sunny Souls Social Group
Bognor Regis has a strong sense of community, and the Sunny Souls Social Club is a lovely example of that.
Organised by Bognorphenia, the group meets on the final Tuesday of each month and is aimed at those aged over 60. Sessions include entertainment, board games, arts and crafts and, just as importantly, somewhere warm and welcoming to enjoy a chat.
Bognorphenia also raises funds to support music projects for young people in the local area.

Adult entry is £1.50, while children can attend free of charge, making it an affordable Saturday morning outing for young families.

Christmas Market in London Road
The festive season gets underway in the town centre as the Christmas Market takes over the London Road precinct.
Local traders will be on hand throughout the afternoon and evening, giving visitors the chance to shop locally and start ticking a few presents off the Christmas list.
It is also a good opportunity to spend some time in the town centre and support the independent businesses that form such an important part of Bognor Regis.

Further details of the entertainment are expected closer to the date, so it is worth keeping an eye on the Town Council's event updates before heading out.

One of the things we love about Bognor Regis is the variety of events and activities taking place throughout the year. From the seafront and Hotham Park to community centres, local businesses and the town centre itself, there is always something happening.
At Whitlocks Estate Agents, we spend every day talking to people about not just property, but what it is actually like to live in the area. If you are thinking about moving within Bognor Regis or relocating to the coast, our local team would be delighted to help you discover the neighbourhoods that could be right for you.
Event details can change, so we recommend checking with organisers before travelling.
